Dental Hygiene job in Tucson..... (find a job, transferring to, moving to)

Does anyone know how easy/difficult it would be to find a job in dental hygiene in the Tucson area? I can't find anything online and thought I would give this forum a try.......

The trick with private offices like doctors offices and dentist offices is to go banging doors with resumes.

I am currently licensed in a few states on the East side of the country. My husband is looking into transferring to a job in AZ. I do not want to do this, because I don't think it will be easy to find a hygiene job in AZ. AZ is one of the most expensive states to get licensed in and I do not want to risk moving to a place I may not find a job. Just trying to find out some info from people that are in the profession....but I don't think that anyone on this particular forum is.

Ha! Not too far southeast of Cumberland from you. Check usajobs.opm.gov. Yep, you guessed it. It is the US government's job listing site. I just saw four listings for dental assistants in AZ. Two of the listing are at Luke AFB. One of the listings is actually for a "Dental Hygienist" at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson

Thank you, I am actually very familiar with USAJobs.....unfortunately I do not qualify for any of those jobs.....but I wish that I did My only chance of finding a job is through a private practice. Thanks again!
