Good chance that it was just a "search" light that they use to advertise events at night.

This sort of stuff:

On the other hand - it could have been an alien abduction, or one of Sierra's interstellar robot "friends" landing.

The only one I know of that still flashes is Broadway and Swan.

They wont send a beam of light into the night sky however.

I set foot in one once (on Harrison - between Old Spanish and Broadway) because somebody told me they make gizzards, which I love, but don't care to make 'cause it's a hassle. Of course, what they had was "something" breaded... We've talked about this before... could've been coyote for all I know...

I don't know about flashing... don't think it does.

I don't know what's worse: the simple fact that you eat and somehow possibly enjoy gizzards (I feed them to my dogs and even sometimes they won't eat them) or the fact that you went to Lucky Wishbone and - of all things - ordered them.

This whole story bothers me in a way I can't describe.

My understanding of speed of light and Einstein's theory of relativity might be a bit fuzzy, Reezo, but it leads me to believe that ALL things are possible...

If I remember first year science correctly, rays of light bend in the presence of a gravitational field, therefore making it quite feasible for (even) a Lucky Wishbone flash to be seen much farther away and brighter than originally transmitted... even from point of origin: Broadway and Swan... this would coincide with mass-energy equivalence: (E = mc2) - energy and mass are equivalent and transmutable.

Gizzards have to be prepared properly in order to be good. That's why I don't feel like making them. It's very tough meat (like bunnies ) and it needs to be boiled for a long time first.

Oh, I eat things that can make your Yankee hair stand on end!

However, I agree with you that setting foot in Lucky Wishbone IS bothersome act of desperation and laziness!
