LOL, surprise, surprise, huh!

I don't get them often, but they annoy the hell out of me! First off, it's not your business to convert me. Second off, it's not like I'll open the door to you anyway... I can certainly find your pamphlet later on - no need to wake me up on a weekend morning. I guess they don't fall into the "no solicitation" guidelines... Not that the HOA breaks a leg running to take care of anything!

I remember opening the door to them only once, many years ago, when I'd just moved to the US and it was still amusing me. It's been a long time since I find them entertaining, though. At the same time I was playing the Clearing House Sweepstakes, too, even though people were telling me it's BS! It either no longer exists or they figured I've smartened up as I haven't heard from them for many years. Guess they might be getting their mailing lists from the INS.

One time before the time I described above, they had come to the door and my mother opened it. They started talking and she just used sign language. They left.

It was funny. Starting at that point we tried to think of silly things to do at the door when they came knocking. Funny thing is, I don't think my dad knew who was at the door, and it just happened that way.

I was never very clever when I got to the door though, I'd usually just look at them with disgust and shut the door firmly in their face. No time for that nonsense!

Holy pony, now that you mentioned it, I looked and noticed it today. Just can't think of a better place to get married than in a stable!

Eh, you're cowpony... Besides, you're married, so it's a hypothetical situation for you.
