how long did you think your little thread would last before it began to spin wildly out of control??!!
one post?....four?........even eight????
oh well....it was fun while it lasted.......
not so little-known, but Robert's on E Grant is a favorite for breakfast.....classic all-American food.....no pretense at all....meat loaf, turkey sandwich....coffee or tea included!.....they reopen August 6 after their annual summer month-long break

Reezo's always spinning out of control!
Never been, but the colt keeps declaring that we're going out to eat at Robert's Restaurant... however, every time we've shown up, they're CLOSED! Closed on Sundays... or, closed for summer break!

azdr,
I usually derail my own threads before I even post them.
As long as we're having fun - I don't mind. People keep adding to the list!

This is true.
Tucson is the Thread Derailer Capital of City-Data Forums... and, if we don't do it ourselves, the serial trolls come in and do it for us!

I'm too lazy to read through all the posts, so I'm sorry if I repeat any restaurants. Here's my list. I'm not going to add descriptions. I'm sure you are all familiar with Google! I'm not sure how "little known" they are, but most of my friends have never eaten at any of them.
Zachary's Pizza
Delectables
Nico's
Mariscos Chihuahua
Yoshimatsu
On a Roll Sushi
The Grill (for a midnight snack - yummy tater tots, don't drink the coffee and don't go here if you are afraid of dirty establishments)
Lucky Wishbone
Le Rendez-Vous
Tony's New York Style Italian Deli - for all you east coasters, they even have pork roll
Feast
Guilin Chinese - great for vegans and vegetarians
La Indita
Oregano's
Lovin Spoonfuls - vegetarian place
Kingfisher
Bison Witches
Jonathon's Tucson Cork
Garland Bistro

I came across this little known place (I think) you lovers of Mexican food may like. Sounds like a true hole-in-the-wall joint... It’s somewhere in the lands ZP loves. Could be even in the heart of South Tucson - never can remember the exact boundaries.
El Guero Canelo - Tucson, AZ

That's the one with the famous Sonoran Hot Dogs, and they are delish. When people come from out of town and I want to have them eat something (sorta) uniquely Tucson, I take them there for a Sonoran Hot Dog... and then to Pico de Gallo for a Shrimp Taco.
