Oh, well, more fear-mongering would probably eventually lead to less expensive hotels for me. Not a bad deal after all.

We might even get back to the ol' days of good people going there, instead of jerks flying in monster SUVs as if they're the only ones on the road.

I started liking Riviera Maya a lot better. Less often, but better quality beaches and hotels and way better bang for the buck. Only that flying sucks, but that's the case no matter where you go.

Rocky Point also became quite Americanized as well. I liked it more when it was still rugged. Unless you stay on Sandy Beach or Las Conchas, you can’t even get to these beaches anymore… Sometimes we'd stay at the Costa Brava (that one burned down) downtown and go to a different beach every day. Won't work the same way now.

Gots to agree with the Bumster & the Reez Man as well. Unfortunately... Down Under's been a No Man's Land for me... for quite while now.

Oh-oh... MEN... sticking together...

Well, I'd choose another word, but I'll just bite my fingers.

Don't bite too hard or you'll end up like some of the folks in the pictures I mentioned.

Have to... If we start telling each other everything we think of each other, the forum would bite the dust.

If you don't want to go, why get on this thread and grumble?
Let people who are actually interested have their discussion

Following that idea, shouldn't this message have been in a DM, rather than posted to the thread?
