Hey fishman, I can't help with the school info except I've seen TUSD buses in the neighborhood. If we're on the same page, Star Valley (only one "r") is at Valencia and Wade down on the far SW side. We're about 5 mles east of Ryan Airfield.

It's a really quiet neighborhood, great views of the stars at night (hence the name I guess), views of the mountains to the south - the Sierritas I think, and Kitt Peak. There's a pretty big community park with walking trails, basketball courts, grills, playgrounds and dog parks. They're also building a huge new firehouse as part of the Drexel Heights district in the neighborhood.

That's some of the basic info... it's a pretty friendly neighborhood and very quiet. There are lots of kids too, so your 7 year old would have someone to play with. If there's any other info you're looking for (except school info) let me know.
