Default Live Streaming News?

As some of you know, I live on Oahu but enjoy keeping in touch with Tucson through this forum.

Here, one of the tv channels puts their 6 and 10 pm news on the internet, they play the entire broadcast live, ads and all. If you have a tv beside it there may be a second difference between the two.

Is there any tv news like that I can watch from Tucson?

I went on KOLD and KGUN's sites and I see where you can play the different short clips, like the weather and individual stories, but what I mean is identical to what's on tv, and it lasts 1/2 hr.

In case you ever wanted to see what's up here, we are 3 hours earlier than you and one of the channels is:
KGMB9 News Hawaii - Homepage

thanks!

Hey, Dinty, is Sherrie Shima still at KHNL? A couple of years ago we were there for the Pro Bowl and she and Howard Dashevsky were doing live remotes from Kalakaua down by the Jumbo Tron, and I got my picture taken with her in front of Duke's statue. I have links to all three stations and occasionally tune them in, as well as KINE 105, and I get email updates from KHNL.

But, as to your question, have you looked at KVOA? That's the NBC affiliate here in Tucson. I would have to say, though, without checking, none of the stations have a live feed, even if it's later than the actual news broadcast. You can follow most of them on Facebook or Twitter. Here's a link to Channel 4, KVOA.

Thanks Marcy.

Yes, Howard and Sherrie are still at KHNL and are two of the top news people here. They both come off as very real, nice people.

I checked out KVOA and have added it to the "AZ" folder on my toolbar - I have TV stations, this forum and a few webcams... I like the UA webcam the best. It's pretty cool being able to keep up on Tucson like this.

thanks and aloha!

The U of A cam is a good one because you can see pretty much the whole Catalina Range. And, it labels the peaks for you.

I do the same thing for the Hawai'i cams and TV stations that you do for the Tucson cams and stations. Isn't technology amazing?
