need some info please!
Well, we were looking for Phoenix area but decided to look more into Tucson instead. Need to know what anyone can tell me about "Miracle Manor" neighborhood with the zip code 85705. We're looking for a home that is in a decent neighborhood for raising kids. My husband and myself are in the late 20s to mid 30s age group, with a 10 year old, 8 year old, and 2 year old. We'd be bringing our dog and 2 cats as well. We're currently living in Minnesota but both my husband and myself love Arizona. The types of houses we've been looking at are super cheap foreclosures that need work done. Any input would be awesome! Thanks all!

Miracle Mile you mean?
Miracle Mile is nothing special, just another street in the city. I've read about rumors online before I moved here that there is some sort of revitalization going on upthere. I haven't noticed anything special...I could be wrong.

Actually the house is on West Budmoore Terrace, the listing says it's in the "Miracle Manor" neighborhood?

I have lived in 85705 for about a dozen years and, as with most of Tucson, it has both good and bad neighborhoods. Without the exact address or at least the cross streets, no one will be able to offer safe advice.
However, if it is close to Miracle Mile . . . not a neighborhood I would recommend.
Good Luck.

I had never heard of this street and googled it. Although you didn't give the exact address on Budmoore Terrace, it appears to be a short street and I see a street called Miracle Manor not far away, so this would appear to be the neighborhood you're talking about. [Edit: I wrote this before the Lillyrose provided the address] For anyone in Tucson reading this thread, Budmoore Terrace is one block north of Grant and the whole street is so short that it's all basically just across the street from the big movie theater at Grant and I-10.
I don't live in that neighborhood or even in Tucson anymore for that matter, but my mother does. She lives about 2 miles west just off Grant Rd. The area she is in is just fine. But this Miracle Manor neighborhood is not nearly as nice.
As someone above mentioned, Miracle Mile, a nearby street, is not so nice. It's lined with rundown motels from the pre-interstate days, most of which are flophouses and/or drug dens now. The other main streets nearby, Grant and Oracle Rd., are not so nice stretches of these streets either.
Grant is semi-industrial along this stretch and that part of Oracle is sketchy, with a rundown motel literally called the No Tell Motel (room rates probably available by the hour) and at least one adult video/bookstore. The schools in the area would be in either the Flowing Wells district or Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). I've never heard anything bad about Flowing Wells, but I've never heard anything glowing either. I'm a product of TUSD, and have no problem with the education I received, but that was 25 years ago and most people will tell you their schools aren't so good now.
Foreclosure bargain or not, I'd look in a different area.

I would not move into that area myself, and I live in the evil and dreaded Grant/Alvernon area.

It's contingent anyway...
Holy cow, it doesn't look all that bad for being listed for 50K. It even has something in the shape of a pool...
