Climax--there's a big mine there. Really. Molybdemum or Molly be Damned.

Dinosaur--there's really big dinosaur footprints there, even if it is mostly in Utah.

Hygiene--there's really clean people there. Supposedly. It's near Climax. Need I say more?

Last Chance--for just about anything, even if it is in the middle of the state about 75 miles east of Denver.

No Name--there's really bored people (if any) there, since it's a rest area on I-70 east of Glenwood Springs.

Parachute--there's a really big--no there's not, I don't think.
Security--there's a lot of--or there could be--it's near NORAD.
Tincup--there's a story that a miner lost one in the creek and when looking for it found gold and died a millionaire.

Yellow Jacket--there's a lot of really big--no there's not. Or maybe. Could be. Former Indian Settlement about 25 miles north of Mesa Verde.
And let's not forget Cripple Creek of The Band fame and now limited stakes gambling. They say the name came from a miner's cow getting crippled crossing the creek up there. Probably belonged to the miner who lost his Tin Cup. Or not.
Also, before they moved NORAD out to the area near Schriever AFB east of Colorado Springs, it was located on Cheyenne Mountain which has a HUGE geological fault running right through the middle of it. Now how safe is that?
And that's our Colorado History Lesson for...............a good long time.
