Default North Runway Drive - what's it like there

Is North Runway Drive in Tucson a good/safe area of the city. It is where the Waste Mgmt. Recycle of America office is - a place my friend may apply for a job. It's sort of the western part of downtown Tucson - where Prince Rd. meets Rt. 10.

It's not bad, few miles north of downtown, kind of an industrial area.

If you put the address into Mapquest, 3909 N Runway Dr, Tucson, then look at the aerial image, you'll see where the old airport runway was.

I take my boys to the toy train museum right by there and feel perfectly safe.

One thing though, construction is about to start on I-10 and all of the exits along there will be closed for the next three years. Here's a link for the latest information on construction.
