Default What to do in Tucson? Some ideas.

Sometime ago there was a post wondering what to do in Tucson, particularly something enjoyable for teens. I know my son would have been yawning at some of the things I would find interesting. He would have been agog at the Titan Missile Museum and the AMARG Boneyard Tour file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Joskel/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-12.png (broken link)

Now that he is a 40-something, he can hardly wait for us to get moved to Tucson so he can come visit and tour these. Since he works in the airline industry, he can relate greatly. And of course there is the commercial boneyard near Marana.

Lots of things for those teens to do in and close to Tucson. I wonder if even some natives have never toured many of the sites close at hand. Folks seem to be that way. One has to make a bit of an effort sometimes to take advantage of local things.

Today (24OCT09) is the Musical Moveable Feast at the Pima Air and Space Museum, by the TSO Brass Quintet and TSO Percussion Quartet. Would be a good chance to get those teens satisfied and give the whole family a bit of musical fun. Wish we were in Tucson!!

Have a great day.
Joseph
