I get out at lunch time today. I think I'm going to head over to Guero Canelo and get a Sonoran Hot Dog. Then if it clears at all, I'm going to check out the Saguaro NP (East, as I'm at the Hilton Tucson East) with some people. It's nice to have newfound time. The flight in last night was nasty, but no delays surprisingly.

Not true at all. Tucson has a lot of great places to visit on vacation. It's not the place to build a career, but if you have a couple of days off in January it's hard to beat.

You really lucked out considering what the forecast was. It's cold, but at least it wasn't gloomy and depressing the whole time.

Yeah, I lucked out big-time! It was great (the cold wasn't so bad). I had a great time and Tucson is absolutely beautiful. I don't understand all of the negativity (concerning the natural beauty, anyway) towards Tucson. Sure, it's not as "green" as many other places, but who said greenery is the only thing that makes a place beautiful?! Anyway, I posted some of my pictures online. If anyone wants to see them, check theses links: ONE and TWO. I'll eventually host them on City-Data, but don't feel like copying and pasting image codes right now.

Thank you to all of those who helped me out. This was a wonderful trip and I'm looking forward to coming back (soon, most likely).

^No problem, I had to laugh at EzTranny's comments because I went to neither Sabino Canyon or Mt. Lemmon and still found that there was plenty to do. I still didn't get to the Air/Space Museum either. I did get to Saguaro NP, the Sabino Desert Museum (awesome, by the way), the Colossal Cave Mountain State Park, and a bunch of smaller destinations. None of them were a let down. To top it off the scenery was great and the people friendly. Of course it's not a fit for everyone and some may even take certain things for granted. However, I enjoyed it and would/ will go back. I'd also recommend it to anyone looking to visit.
