Default Need Info about Claremore, OK

We are considering moving to Claremore and I noticed that there are a lot of houses for sale or in foreclosure. What kind of area is this? Of course the realtors tell me it's a nice area, great schools....but I need the truth from a resident that lives there!!

Default Here is some info

I do not live in Claremore, but I do quite a bit of business out there. Claremore is close to Tulsa, but due to the geographic layout, it will always have the "small town" feel. There is a large area between Tulsa and Claremore that is bottom land full of pecan groves...it is likely this will not be deveoped.

Claremore has done quite a few things in the past few years to draw people in that direction. They have a new convention center and other tourist attractions around it. They have been able to pull successful large events away from Tulsa and the surrounding communities. There is lots of new building in the area. I have am in the mortgage business and have financed several new homes in the Saddleback Addition which is built by ROKE Homes. There are several banks in town to choose from, but I know the President of Grand Bank and he is not your "average" bank president. Very friendly and from what I understand it is a great bank.

There is also some new businesses in Claremore (especially on the west end). City seems to be alive and growing well. I don't know much about the school systems. I do know you can get much more house for your $$ than in Tulsa.

If you would like some assistance with financing your new home, I would like the opportunity to earn your business. mod cut (no advertising)
Good Luck, and e mail me if you have any particular questions.
