Question Finding a good preschool/school

Hi all!! I have been here in Tulsa for a number of years. I have guardianship of my 4 yr old granddaughter and have TONS of questions regarding the state-funded preschool programs at the reg. elementary schools. I have been googling all day w/o finding what I am looking for.

Is the program 5 days per week and as long each day as regular school?
Can i switch out to a better school? If so, how?

If any one knows these answers or where to find them I would appreciate it!

Hi

I found this on a site about preschool in Tulsa County. Hope it helps to call the number listed. You might try just visiting your local elementary school. It might be hard to find someone there in the summer, though.

Plus, go to the link on my post above, click on schools, then click on K and Preschool. It is a pdf document that lists each school and whether it has full day preschool or half day preschool.

Wow, I can't believe I posted a link!

I doubt whether you can transfer out of the district, but you can probably transer within the district.

Hope this helps.
