Joplin is going to be a lot closer. According to Mapquest, Joplin is a 40 minute drive, and about 27 miles, where Tulsa wil be about an hour and a half drive at 89 miles.

You can check out a5og.net...there are a number of players there that will be going to this next event. I believe that a few are even going to be in the command of the Axis this coming year.

Joplin is closer to Wyandotte (thank you for spelling correctly) but the airport does not have many commercial flights, and only connects to Kansas City. It might save time to use the Tulsa International Airport, as it probably will give you less layover time along your way.

Just a suggestion, I would arrive a day early. The airlines all across the US can be crippled by storms any time of the year. I would hate to see you miss your event stuck in some airport, and the motel rooms in Neosho are really not that expensive.

Sounds like fun. Hope you lads have a wonderful time, and a safe trip.

Hey Lads,

I have done D-Day and it is a blast. I am wondering though if you are just going to stay one night at a hotel and then go to the event and camp or are you planning on staying in the hotel all the time. I found that staying at the "bases" was a great. Camping out and roughing it made it even more of an experience. Now when I say roughing it I might be stretching it a bit, since they usually have food stands and paintball supply companies on site. Also the night games can go pretty late so it might be easier to camp than drive everyday.

If you have anymore questions please feel free to E-mail. Have a great time, keep in mind it is probably going to be REALLY hot & humid. Make sure and add hydration equipment to your list of supplies.
