I am tentatively planning to head to Tulsa around mid September. I would like to line up a place to stay, or possibly camp in my van, while there and making up my mind whether or not to stay. This Tulsa moble home park is listed on the net. It has some spaces with RV type hook ups:
66 Mobile Home & R V Park
7514 W 80th St

Is anyone familiar with it? Is it in a good\safe location? Does anyone know of places that rent rooms on a weekly\monthly basis?
What are rental rates like for apartments? Are there decent apartments around under or near the $400 a month range? Thanks.

West not a good choice for new folks. Safety is an issue.....best choice mid town or south with many choices...........

If I were to move back, I'd look at midtown as well. Nice, historic areas like that are great.
