Default Sapulpa????

I was born and raised in Sapulpa (Tulsa suburb) for those of you who don;t know it! Let me tell you a bit about this Beautiful town...First of all you can be anywhere in Tulsa (Depending on Traffic) in 15-20 min .This town has a beautiful downtown district its even on the register for most vibrant downtown areas in the state....quiet, peaceful has everything you need. Restaraunts..great school system, Wonderful public servants....but the problem I have is why is it that this lovely city never grows? All I can say is anyone new to the Tulsa area check out Sapulpa you will be pleasantly surprised!

You can be to any hospital in Tulsa in about 10 minutes, 15 or 20 if you travel during rush hour. Sapulpa is growing, but it has several 4 or more lane highways coming in to and leaving the city. Highway 117, 66, 97, 75A and the Turner and Creek Turnpikes. Highway 75 is also about 1/4 mile east of the City Limits. I think the taxes are about 8%. Something like that. The taxes are cheaper in the parts of Sapulpa that are in Creek County. Tulsa County's taxes are rediculous.

I love Sapulpa. There is something very romantic about that town.

How do you figure that?

Creek County = 1 percent
Tulsa County = 1.017 percent

When we talk about county tax.

The difference:

If you spend 5000 dollars on something, you'll spend an extra whopping 85 cents on sales tax. On 5000 dollars.

Wow, Tulsa County's taxes sure are 'rediculous'.

BTW, Tulsa's sales tax is 8.517 percent.

Guess what Sapulpa's is? Ain't 8 percent.

It's 9.5 percent.

Don't get me wrong, I like Sapulpa. But they are charging 4 percent city tax; Tulsa is charging 3. Let's not get misinformed here.
