Default Opinion on property on West Fairview Street in Tulsa

I am considering buying the historic Kennedy Mansion on West Fairview Street in Tulsa. Is this still a good area of Tulsa, or is it going downhill. It has been some years since I visited Tulsa so I'm not up to date on good & bad sections.

Smile West Fairview Street

If I'm not mistaken, the mansion is in Brady Heights. There are quite a few renovations in progress on Denver, and Cheyenne. Between Edison and Newton Streets. Right across the street from Owen Park , and the Tulsa Country Club(Edison and Rosedale) are some beautiful houses that are vacant also. Being about two minutes from Downtown and by the new BOK Arena, Cains Ballroom, that area is expecting a lot of revitalization . The homeowners in Brady Heights, are staying true to neighborhood. The neighborhood is diverse which I find refreshing. I wish I had went there, before my move to Res' Hill where the homes are nice but a little smaller than the Heights. Any new homes have to look historically accurate on the outside. Novus Developers have built a few, very convincing 'Craftsman style houses. There is a Brady Heights Historical Society and website. I hope this helps. Zillow.com is good too.
