We are a young couple and we don't think we are ready to buy yet. We are looking for a nice area not too far from Bartlesville. We noticed that there is only one apartment complex in Bartlesville and it's always full. We have a son, so school is very important. We are from a major Louisiana city and don't want to live too far into the country. We have been looking in the Owasso area. Can anyone help on where we should be looking?
My husband and I are also looking to move to Owasso. I am trying to find out about the terrain, is it hilly or flat? I can't seem to find anything

I believe in Owasso the terrain is fairly flat. Hills are nearby, though.

Default Owasso

It is mostly flat. There are several new homes being built in Bartlesville. I would continue to check there.

Owasso itself is pretty flat. East of Owasso, towards Claremore, there are some hills....mostly around the Verdigris. North and west of Owasso is also pretty flat although it is more a slightly rolling area. It isn't flat like you would get out on the caprock in Texas. If you are looking for hills in northern Tulsa County or in Washington County, look further west. The area west of Highway 75 in Osage County has lots of nice hills. Those hills extend from the Arkansas River around Sand Springs to the Tall Grass Prairie area west of Bartlesville and from the Osage County line to the rolling prairie east of Ponca City.

Owasso is mostly flat but go east on either 76th, 86th, or 96th and you will find very exquisite housing additions with beautiful cliffs and lots of trees. It's the hidden secret of this wonderful bedroom community, just don't tell many people about it!!!

One in particular is called Dover Pond, go as far as you can east on 96th street north!
