Yeah you know the Bible says that the first shall be last and the Last Shall Be First...: Tulsa and OKC are certainly turning into World Class Cities or rather Renaissances Cities...and the World Said That It Couldn't Happen "Well Just Wait And See" all of you Naysayers.

I think when you compare what this arena will offer, compared to other successful arenas of the same size--the Ford Center in OKC or the Key Arena in Seattle (which features fold-out seats and NO cup holders, but which has entertained 10 million guests since it opened), you can really see the potential for a hugely successful venue for top artists and sports events--a "must do". The stunning architecture alone will help sell the Arena, and the focus on detail will, as you say, make this the "crown jewel" of Tulsa for a long time.

The NBA announcement has highlighted a lot on our arena. In both yesterday and today's Tulsa's paper it was pointed out that much of the $100M in Ford Center improvements planned to make way for the team, Tulsa's Arena design already included. The Ford Center will be much nicer, but will cost more than Tulsa's did when the remodel is complete but still feature narrower seats and aisles than Tulsa's. Also, OKc will now have to black out 45-50 dates where they can no longer host events and Tulsa will be more than happy to pick up those events.

Here are a few from today. They are capping out the stainless steel panels on the east side of the structure, and glasswork
continues on the entrances:

Prue, you wouldn't have happened to have been on the top level of the parking garage shortly before noon, would you? In a truck? I took many photos today.

Thank you.
Also, I remember seeing in this thread (maybe) a discussion about being a little disappointed in the glass color of the icon wall. I believe that the Coke bottle green is not the color; it may be a protective mylar like the stainless steel panels have in blue.
If you look at the last photo in my set, right in the middle there is a glass panel which I believe is the actual color of the glass.
