Also, I notice that there's not a seating layout yet of the Eagles concert. Tickets are $52 - $87 - $187. A really good price on the cheap seats, wherever they may be.
Yeah, wide seats are vitally important since so many people make it a point to keep their bellies stuffed in order to be happy and contented.

I've been in arenas where the seats are so narrow that they are uncomfortable, and I'm not a hefty guy. So yes, a little wider is indeed a comfort factor.

Same here. And there's nothing like spending two hours wedged in between two other people, with no elbow room, or room to turn, and when they jump up to applaud, I stay seated just to enjoy the extra space.

The cup holders will be a nice touch, too. I think I'm gonna like this place!

Wow, I look at these old photos I took in March of 07 and see where we're at now and it floors me.

Synopsis, you better get your internet finger ready for Monday morning and the Eagles tickets going on sale.

At the very least come up the weekend of the Grand Opening. That happens to be Labor Day weekend as well.

I'm calling in sick so I can be at the keyboard at 10 a.m.

BigOkie, I was by there last night (well, actually, I made a special trilp down there to check it out), and they have the grass sod already in place on the west side, and the trees planted on the west and east sides. They're finishing laying the asphalt base on the main sidewalk. At this rate, they'll have the paving blocks done by early next week.

The only major thing I see missing is the marquee outside. Wonder where they'll put that?

Having sat in the BOk Center seats, I can vouch for the comfort factor. They're nice, large, and padded! And I can honestly say there's not a bad seat in the whole place. Even the cheap seats are great seats.

Well, I missed out on my Eagles tickets. Not that I didn't try. The server overloaded, so I rushed down to Homeland, and they sold out within minutes. I guess i'm naive; I didn't realize that every ticket outlet in America was allowed to buy and resell Eagles BOK concert tickets, leaving so few available that most people couldn't find one. They're selling them for $250 for the "cheap" ones on up to several thousand dollars. So, in other words, the advertised ticket prices are merely a starting point. Fat chance of actually finding them for that price. I am thoroughly disgusted, and will probably not try to attend any other concerts at the Arena for a long while.

Google "Eagle tickets BOK Tulsa". There are at least a dozen companies nationwide who had bought up lots of tickets, leaving only a seat here and there. And those lucky enough to have an American Express card bought up the rest of them, I guess, over the weekend, so they could re-sell them this week and make a killing. It really stinks.

They should have reserved those tickets for locals first. That's too bad New.
