The arena seating full is 18041, about 16500 for hockey/arena football.

I went down to the site on Saturday and took some more photos. Enjoy.

That is the most stunning stadium i see being built in America today. Thankfully, someone in Tulsa cared enough to actually hire a renowned architect, alot of other places would have used some nameless conglomeration of unknown architects. This will surely solidify Tulsa's reputation for great architecture. The greatest collegtion of Deco buildings AND a modernist arena. Stop making the rest of us look bad

BigOkie. Thanks very much for the pictures. Minnehahapolitan, I agree that the arena is one of the most stunning that I've seen. It's not "just" an arena but in my opinion it's a work of art. It will add to Tulsa's already great skyline. That, along with the other improvements (river development and vision2025) will bring some much needed revitalization to Tulsa. Thanks for the nice comments.

And the great thing about it is the scope of the arena (size) surprised me. I was on the north section of the IDL (Inner Dispersal Loop for you non-Tulsans) and was able to see the arena construction with the no problems from over a mile away. I can imagine what this thing will look like once it's completed from that same stretch of highway.

One final thing; if you want a neat QT flythrough (computer generated) of the arena, along with related stories from the local paper and a slideshow and model rendering, you can visit BOK Center progress

I like your photos a lot. I watched them as a slideshow, and it was awesome. I'm glad you got those pictures of the old Camelot.

Thanks BigOkie. You take great photos and I think we all love these photo threads. The Arena is coming along nicely. It's more impressive every time I see it. Can't wait til it's done!
