Yep; I made note of it in one of the pictures. They were down there taking pictures about the same time I was taking mine on Sunday.

The Tulsa Oilers are going to be the envy of every minor league hockey team in the league. Major league too, from the standpoint of facilities. I'm thinking of driving up there for the grand opening. I'm off until Tuesday of next week.

Hope everyone made it to the Grand Opening. Overall, the building's interior is just snazzy. The upper level is only semi-snazzy - kind of utilitarian with all the wire racks and exposed plumbing, etc. - but comparable to other arenas, and functional. I like the access to the arena core, especially from the first floor. You just walk right into it. That's different!

The nosebleed section (upper level) is 'way steep, and the seats seem really narrow (although the visibility from any seat up there will be great). For the difference in ticket pricing, I'm going to try to get into the lower level for concerts. For hockey or basketball, I'll have to agree; there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house.

It's an amazing place. I wasn't able to make it to the grand opening, but between the pictures and videos, I got "the picture," so to speak. Thanks very much for providing your pictures and links. It' really very much appreciated.
