That's good to hear; you can expect probably one set a month as we are in the last year of the construction. It's been really cool watching it develop from essentially dirt and a few concrete piers to what it looks like now.
I'm looking to buy a better camera come Christmastime (a real SLR, though the Fuji is a damn fine camera), so hopefully I can eek out some better photos.
Thanks to all for the comments.

I know this is kind of dated now, but Cesar Pelli is the older gentlemen in the third slide, seated at the far side of the table, in a dark cardigan vest and big rimmed glasses.

Looking forward to more photos BigOkie. And I was always wondering which one of those folks was Caesar Pelli. I would love to have an SLR. However, the snap and go cameras they make these days rival the SLRs of days past don't they?

Ya know it's nice that tulsa is building an arena but what are they going to use it for? Ok concerts maybe but it's not like they're ever going to have a sports team.

Let's see, we have four professional sports teams
Baseball: Tulsa Drillers (Colorado Rockies affliliate)
Arena Football: Tulsa Talons Tulsa World : Talons to make BOK Center home
Hockey: CHL Tulsa Oilers and some talk of an AHL or even an NHL team at some point
Basketball: Tulsa 66ers
Do some research before you spew...
The Talons have inked a five year deal with the city to play in the arena; the Oilers have a deal upcoming. That means sports events in the arena year round, plus NCAA conference championship venues, exhibitions and many concerts.
I get sick and tired of having to trek to OKC to see a decent concert.

Please do your research before you make such uninformed statements. So you think that Tulsa is building this iconic arena to sit and collect dust? Just as BigOkie says, the arena is going to be home to sports teams, concerts, and all kinds of events.

OUCH already, ok I get the point but when I meant "professional" I meant having NBA, NFL, NHL teams not necessarily "supporting leagues". When arena football really digs in and becomes a major league sport then that would be another story.....Wouldn't it be nice to have the Sonics in Tulsa vice OKC though?

Well, your wishes may end up coming true in the future. (about more pro teams relocating to OK) I was reading an article on the forum last night (in another state) and it listed both Tulsa and OKC as up and coming cities that will be desirable for relocators. I wasn't really surprised and I think that time isn't too far off.

I think Tulsa could possibly pull in an NHL team but it's too small of a market for pro basketball; maybe even pro hockey. Hockey is big in Tulsa though; the city has always supported the Tulsa Oilers. I would love to see them get a pro team, but there will never be two pro teams of the same sport in Oklahoma (at least not in my lifetime) and Oklahoma City will get an NBA team before too long. There is talk about Tulsa getting a professional women's basketball team, although as "sexist" as this may sound I would consider that roughly the same as an NBA developmental league or semi-pro. Arena football would be great.
