Sorry, I just saw this. I really couldn't tell you. Unless someone comes along with definitive answers, I would suggest googling "Tulsa homeopathic" or something like that. I believe the naturpathic and homeopathic medicine is definitely an alternative. Now, I don't know if you are looking to start up a business there or want to know the availability of natural medicine.

I would guess that there would be plenty of opportunities to seek out homeopathic medicine in Tulsa.

Tulsa is open to alternative medicines. We have been criticized by outsiders for it, but our downtown hospital is osteopathic (DO) instead of allopathic (MD) which tends to show that what I refer to as "voodoo medicine" (shake a plastic bottle full of pills at it and be healed) is not regarded as the only way here in town. We are also home to Cancer Treatment Centers of America (who moved here from Chicago) which has an almost unheard of success rate due to the fact they specialize in whole-body healing as opposed to the aforementioned standard voodoo.

I think you'll find Tulsa as a whole to be much more positive towards herbal cures, spiritual cures, etc than anywhere within a few hundred miles of here.

That's good to hear sgrizzle. I'm a firm believer in osteopathic medicine; my dr. is a DO and much better than any MD I have ever had.

I do not think that is a fair conclusion to draw from the OSU schools in Tulsa.
The majority of D.O.s are essentially MDs now as their coursework has essentially dropped the voodoo bits in favor of the MD tradition. However, most DO degree holders find it easier to get work in general practice due to their residency programs.
