Default Owasso Doctors, realtors, and builders - the good, the bad, and the ugly!

Hi Everyone! I am new in Owasso and not knowing anyone here, hoped we could get a discussion going here about the local doctors - the good ones and the bad ones.

Also, my husband and I are either going to be in the market to buy a home or build one, so am also needing realtors and the builders - the good quality ones and the crooks.

If anyone has any personal experience in these areas, I would love to hear from you.

Diane

Welcome to Owasso, been here since 1981, minus a 5 year detour in Dallas. Greg Wylie was the best builder we ever worked with, I don't think he's building homes any longer though. I think Simmons is a decent builder, but I can't help you much there. My wife goes to Dr. Moneypenny in Owasso, she really likes him. I still go to Dr. Patton in Collinsville. Regarding realtors, the best of all time has to be Fleeta Sunday, Lynn VanDeventer is good too.

BTW, we are getting ready to put our house on the market and will be moving to Grand Lake. It's 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 3 car garage, over 1 acre, 2650 square feet, one story, 12 years old, crown moulding throughout, new carpet, alarm system, wood floors. PM me if you might be interested and I'll email you some pics.

hi! My husband and I lived in Owasso from 2000 - 2004, and just loved it! We were empty nesters, transferred there with John Deere. Built a new home with a local builder, Lon Martin, T-Town Builders, and would do it again! Great house in the newest section of Nottingham Estates. When we went to sell it in 2004, it had a couple of things that needed repairing and Lon took care of them pronto! Sold in 2 weeks! His wife, Stephanie, was not a realtor when we were buying, but she is now, and I'd imagine she is very good! Great gal! Another good realtor ir Cindi Hand. My doctor was Dr. Sharon Barnes on 86th Street; and Dr. Gifford, Allergist. We both went to Dr. Heng Lim, GREAT GUY with Great Staff! My hairdresser was Sherry Larschan, at Uptown on 96th -- SWEETEST gal I've ever known!!! Guide One Insurance, on 86th, can't think of his name, he was from Skiatook and was super nice. We miss Owasso and envy you! Hope this helps!

Default doctors

Dr. Doug Brown is HORRIBLE!!! he is an internest. I am new here too and looking for good doctors. Also, good bedside manners.
Dr. Gilbert was great when I was in the hospital,so I scheduled an appointment to see him at his office, and he was so arrogant and nuts. He told me I didn't have a nuerological condition, which I have had for 13 yrs. It is much like MS,and he didn't want to see my old doctors records from out of state.
I am actually scarred now to find nice and good doctors here. I have lived in many states and I never experienced anything like this. I am overweight and these doctors seem to think my weight gives them a right to be abusive to me. They told me even if I was 20lbs overweight I would be way to fat.
