Default Relocating to Bartlesville

I'll be working at ConocoPhillips this summer and wondering what the commute time would be from Tulsa to Bartlesville in the morning? I'm thinking about moving to Westport on the River apartment.
Thanks

I moved from Tulsa OK out to California in 1976 , but most of my family still lives in Tulsa and OKC. "North Bound" commutes are always pretty quick from the Riverside Park general area Northward , and it's the commutes within the "Southern" Tulsa area that move pretty much at a "Snail Pace" just jump on "75" and put the petal to the metel Estimated Time Of Commute 35 thur 55 Minutes.....

Default 45 minutes

It will probably take you close to 45 minutes to get from the River to downtown Bartlesville. Why not live in B'ville? With gas inching towards $4 a gallon why not live in same town you're going to be working in? Bartlesville is a great place to work and live. The Lexington Commons appartments are really nice, better known as Smerf Village because they're blue, but The Village Apartments are not bad either, they're probably the most reasonable considering their price, condition, and location. Both are on the East side of town, opposite of downtown but closer to resturants and shopping and Hwy 75. It will only take you 10-15 minutes to get to work from either place. Our downtown is being renovated and we're starting to get some really good local resturants - great for lunch meetings and close to work. they're are a few apartments in or near downtown but they're either hard to get in or not somewhere you'd want to call home. It is a little slower around here than in Tulsa, so if you want to live there for the nightlife then that's understandable... but it might be wiser to live in B'ville and commute to Tulsa on the weekends to something to do.
Hope this helps!

I agree. I would tend to move to Bartlesville and take the weekend or evening trip to Tulsa if you want to be in a larger city. Bartlesville is a nice place to work and live.

My uncle lives in bartlesville and commutes to Tulsa. I would expect 35-45 minutes depending on what time you are commuting. On the upside, enough people make that hop you might be able to work out some sort of rideshare. Westport is right off highway 75 which is the road you will take straight to bartlesville, which will help.
