Smile Where to end up

Hi all,
Now that the kids are grown, and I still can, I've been thinking of hitting the road on the bicycle in May and heading off from upstate NY to somewhere new. From the people I have met from Oklahoma and Kansas, during a past job, I'm thinking of landing somewhere in one of those states. They all seemed so nice.
I was looking at the Tulsa World online and there seems to reasonable housing there compared to here.
Any comments or suggestions on the area or surrounding area's would be greatly appreciated.

Bill

We would look forward to having you choose Broken Arrow. This is a wonderful community to the south and east of Tulsa. The housing here is some of the best in the state and the local economy is great.

Default Thanks

I just bought a new bike today and put the house up for sale, so it's a definate go. I've been looking online at the area and seems like a possible. So many options right now. Looks like I can make the Tulsa area in about 20 days riding time.
Bill

I can sure give a call. It's going to be about a month yet before I go. Lots of planning, maps to get for routing and camping area's to decide on. Originaly I thoght I'd do the old Rt. 66 trip as I had planned back in 1980, but PA to OH, IN, KY in through MO seems to be the route I'll be taking. There's only one original Mr Bill. Not me. Used to watch every Saturday night back then. When does the warm weather start down that way.
