Broken Arrow School District's PAC
It is really starting to take shape. It will seat 1500 students and provide an arts venue second to none in the region.

The thing is so put of place in downtown Broken Arrow... I know they're trying to beautify it and what not but something like this needed to go in the Bass Pro area (you know where everything is new, and big) and where is everyone going to park?? Good ol' Broken Arrow for ya.

They will park where that building in front of the PAC is. That is the education service center and offices will move inside the PAC plus they moved some offices to the old Central Middle School. There will be plenty of parking.

I hope it's nice, but second to none?
The Union PAC which is only a half dozen miles away seats 2,000. http://www.unionps.org/index.cfm?id=135

Wow, last I checked, the Tulsa PAC was really the standard, not the new BA center.

The comment about being a standard is for school auditoriums, not the Tulsa PAC. This will be a really nice facility. They have dumped a lot of money for acoustics so it will sound great. I think the glass wall on the front will really be a nice look for people traveling south on Main Street toward 81st Street.

Pac...
public education is wasteful and a joke... BA should privatize education... half the cost, many times the quality... I went to BA schools 2-12th grade... and the classrooms are getting crowded, and the city is going bankrupt running the school district. how much are sales taxes for a simple trip to the grocery store in BA? I'm in the navy now, but when I left I believe it was 9.2%.... disgusting.

Rumor has it that stage area is much too small for concerts and drama performances. Surely the school district consulted the many wonderful fine arts instructors in the school district concerning this. Is this just a bad rumor?
Also, I find it hard to believe that a "state of the art" PAC would be anywhere near a train track, let alone just a few yards away.
