You can catch a bus fro Muskogee to Tulsa......call the Greyhound bus terminal. If you need a regular ride (like you live in Muskogee and you need to commute to Tulsa) check with the chamber of commerce for a ride share contact.

My mom is, so I have some connections there. My mother's parents lived there for about forty years.

From your list of criteria it sounds as if Muskogee would be perfect for you. The Roughers are excellent in football. Not sure what a locational school is, but they do have a vocational school and a large NEOSU campus is located in Muskogee. I'm looking to move back to OK and Muskogee is high on my list.

I live south of Muskogee in Checotah. Love it here. My husband's company is talking about moving to Jenks and we are just dying at the thought. I lived in Tulsa for 10 years before I moved to Checotah.. but I grew up in Eufaula so it was 1/2 coming home and 1/2 culture shock.

It is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say that I am an okie from Muskogee since we just moved here last year, but I can say that at least we live here. It took me time to like it but I'm pretty sure we're here to stay. The one thing I've heard about it here is that the high school isn't all that good compared to the schools you can choose from during elementary and jr. high. But my son is only 3 years old so I can't personally say that. It's good to see another Muskogee member on here!
