Default New City Logo Proposed

I'm sorry, a friend sent this and I just about died laughing!

Thought I'd share it for a dreary Monday afternoon, enjoy!

It is kind of funny, because I know of a lot of "proposals" in Tulsa to do certain things that never, ever have gone to frution.

Tulsa, as a whole, appears to be a lot more "un-unified" (if that is a word) than her sister city down the turnpike, but there are a lot of good things coming as a result of Vision 2025.

In many ways, Tulsa's conservative nature (as it relates to developments) may pay off well in the long run.

I found out a major reason for this. Tulsa has to adhere to the "low bidder" rule even if you know the low bidder can't do the work. They will have a company with three crews bid on, and win, 8 jobs. When it comes time to do the work, the work sits idle 2/3rds of the time because they have defined start and end times so they have to rotate crews continuously.

After looking at the downtown photos with all of the street cones and construction, I have to say that is very funny.
