Dr. Bob Blackburn, Oklahoma's State Historic Preservation Officer, made the presentation on Thursday, August 21 in the lobby of the Philtower, 427 S. Boston Ave.Marty Newman, a trustee with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, invited those present to attend the National Preservation Conference, expected to draw more than 2,500 visitors to Tulsa October 21-25, 2008.

It's a shame they waited until some of the historic buildings were gone.

Actually, not a lot of them are gone, comparatively speaking.

There's still quite a bit of art-deco left in town.

I love the art deco in Tulsa. And BigOkie is right; there is quite a bit left.
