Broken Arrow Public Schools has some really great schools. I am a graduate and think highly of the school system. Forest Ridge is an excellent community in east Broken Arrow. That area of town has some really great things planned for it in the future. New shopping areas are popping up around town. Also, even further east in Broken Arrow is Emerald Falls. It is a great Golf Course community. I had the luxury of being at the Grand Opening this summer and the club house is beautiful. They have really preserved the landscape and hills. Just take Kenosha (71st Street) east to 305th East Ave.

Golf in OKC/Edmond has hosted many senior PGA championships. The PGA championship at Oak Tree in '89 and the course is also expected to host another major in the coming years.
There are also many great golf courses in OKC/Edmond/Norman, including OKC Golf and CC which is also a design by Perry Maxwell like SHills. Club Information - Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club

But...

Does Tulsa have a NBA team? Host Olympic rowing trials?
Is Tulsa an annual host of the Big 12 Baseball Tournament, the World Cup of Softball, and the annual NCAA Women's College World Series?
Has it hosted the Big 12 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments? (Which OKC was awarded it again in 2009) and OKC has also held the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournaments.
Has Tulsa been the home to the annual Triple-A Baseball Championship game(since 2006)?
Does Tulsa have a downtown ballpark in place akin to The Brick which is considered the nicest minor league ballpark in the country?
Does it have a decent horse racing venue like Remington Park, which hosts major sporting events in thoroughbred and quarterhorse racing circuits and numerous horse shows and equine events that take place at the state fairgrounds each year?
Does Tulsa have OU football in its backyard? Enough said. OKC is sports country.
Each city has its own unique flavor. If Tulsa could be Paris than OKC would be Rome.

I love both towns and would have my own home in Midtown/Tulsa and Nichols Hills/OKC if I could afford it.
I think that Oklahoman's should be supporting both of their's up and coming Renaissances Cities...I have three Home Town's Tulsa Oklahoma...Long Beach California...(and) Vallejo California , but I still Love Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City and Tulsa are strong in differents area's
however Oklahoma City has forever stepped out from under the shadow of Tulsa....With Their's MAP Urban Renewal Projects.

OkC has really reinvented herself over the last 10-12 years. In a good (no, GREAT) way.

Good call briansgi.

The two cities share similarities but are also very different. I do like Northeastern OK for its beauty.

When people say that Oklahoma City reminds them like Fort Worth, Texas, it really makes me want to go down for a weekend. I have not been to OKC in almost 10 years, I miss it.

OkC and FW are quite a bit alike. Safe downtowns, lots to do. You really should visit FW autotech.

You should also visit OkC. In the last ten years, she has REALLY transformed herself into a fantastic place.

Aw man, I can only imagine. The only time I know for sure, when I check out Fort Worth, is when I move to Dallas in 2010. It is amazing how busy I am from Mon-Fri, and Sat will be the same too. I do love going to school and work though.

I visited Fort Worth five years ago and I loved it. Really nice town and I am looking forward to seeing it again.
