I learned that the seller of a FSBO For Sale By Owner home can also offer the buyer a Home Warranty just like Realtors do.

I was told to simply advertise "One Year Home Warranty plan available". You buy a simple real estate contract form at Burkharts or any office supply store that has forms) and just show that the Buyer wants the home warranty plan so when you then take it over to the Title company they know to add it. The buyer pays it at closing...in Tulsa it is only about $415. In surrounding towns and even in Springfield Mo it is only about $356.

My friend who does these all the time said she likes AHS (American Home Shield) best.
