Whither the OP?
I think we're dealing with another example of a hit-and-run OP. Start an incendiary thread, making a blanket accusation against an entire town of over 35,000 people, only 81 percent of whom are white, 12 percent Native American and 3.2 percent African American (according to City-Data), and then just disappear on us.
For now, I'll give the OP the benefit of the doubt as far as relating the story of what happened to him and his wife. But I maintain that it's a real stretch to impute racism on the entire town of Bartlesville based upon the actions of one individual; and the longer the OP goes without replying to all our replies to his original post in this thread, the more dubious his accusation appears, at least to me.
