Angry Whats Up with Dave and Busters?

I was really excited to hear that Dave and Busters was moving to Tulsa! Unfortunately , I found out that they made it too small and added windows to it ! If anyone has ever traveled outside of Tulsa or even Oklahoma, you will find that Dave and Busters is no joke. They have no windows to give you an experience of being in a VIP club like environment, no matter day or night. Also the size of the location in Denver, CO and all their other locations are the same size, which they are HUGE, for good reason. First of all they have top quality pool tables where they treat you like the President, cleaning off the pool tops and even will carry the balls and set them up for you. Not to mention that they have a superior collection of arcade games, all updated! What Im getting at is that I dont know what the heck Tulsa was thinking with this tiny version of D and B's. It appears that they slacked off big time without the approval of the franchise owners. Im sure they would be crying right now if they saw their master piece of a restaraunt look so typical. If this is the Bible belt, then we should all pray for the leaders of our city to get a clue.

It's 130,000sqft lot, so that allows for 65,000sqft of store pretty easy. Denver is 56,000

It's company owned.

That's a pretty big deal that Tulsa is getting a Dave & Busters. I see it is opening in January.

It is in an EXCELLENT LOCATION! Traffic counts along Hwy 169 are well over 100,000 and you have 71st going through S. Tulsa and to the heart of Broken Arrow.

From the sound of it, you all have never truly seen a Dave and Busters in person. There is truly nothing like it in Tulsa or Oklahoma. Also I guarentee you that you would feel silly saying it looks huge. In fact there is no comparison. It is not just a top star restuarant, but has the biggest arcade room you'll ever see, full size oak pool tables, and the most beautiful wood bars. Oh and did I mention some virtual reality simulators. I hope you all are right, but it sounds like you all have obviously never really experienced a night out at Dave and Busters. I mean all locations are designed to create a feeling of getting away from the crazy pace of life, with no windows to have it feel like you are somewhere else entirely. Also if it is bigger than it appears, I guess it could be hiding a second floor or they have plans on extending it farther after seeing how well it does in January. I guess it never ceases to amaze me that Tulsa with all its supposed Godly wisdom, would be paranoid enough to shrink one of the most famous franchises down to a typical blah restuarant. God wants us to be free of bordem, as my Pastor would say or he'd say in "Boring is from Hell"! It also appears that they didnt go out to any other states or at least research the plans of the other locations and see what a real family entertainment restuarant is all about. Its just one of those age old traditional and religeous barriers that keeps Tulsa out of the know. I mean if they would finally play it smart with something as unique as D and B's, then they will bring huge profits to Tulsa and ensure financial stability and tourism for years to come. In fact my family would visit us in Denver, CO every year for five years and the first thing they were certain they wanted to do is go to DAVE and BUSTERS even if thats all they wanted to do!

Good grief, the Tulsa store is the new D&B small format store, if it successful they may open a larger store in the future. This new format will not be unique to Tulsa, they plan on building more. D&B, like every other business is trying to minimize costs so this smaller formats for smaller markets.

Now, not all D&B's are windowless. The store at Royal Lane and 75 in Dallas has windows. Also, we are not talking a five star restaurant here...lol...this would be like eating at Friday's. Tulsa has a plethora of excellent places to eat, D&B is not known for its food, it's known for the games.

I am sure this store will do well in Tulsa because it is unique, but don't build it up to be something it isn't.
