Tulsa has some great locations for events but the BOK Center is not one of them.

That's why it's been named a top 10 venue two years running.
Wow, get over the hatred man. The BOK has great acoustics. I've been to concerts there. Have you? I doubt it.

I have some Family in the TPD my Uncle was a Dep. Chief and my
Brother is a Capt, that passed the Major Exam and Interview and is
waiting for a slot to open up , I also have a cousin thats a sgt...if
you are going to put a statue of a TPO Downtown you are going to
have to clear a parking lot and turn it into a (core green urban park)
and place the statue smack dab in the center of it. Are you up for the
Urban Renewal Funds Needed For This Project Is That A Yea Or Nay.

Everything in your world is the BOK-BOK-BOK. In my opinion the BOK sucks. The only thing that I hate is the waste of money to build facilities we did not need and now we don't have enough money to keep 20+ Police Officers on the force.

Fine, that's your opinion. It's actually in the minority though.
Like I said earlier, it's likely your in the over-50 crowd who hates change for anything. Hell, I'm betting you wish you could listen to music on an old Victrola, but instead has to learn how to use them damned newfangled Walkmans.
I'm going to do what so many people have wished they 'd do to me, I shall be PLONKing you.

Hey, whoa there I happen to be over 50 way over 50 in fact I am so over 50 I forgot what 50 looks like. I do not appreciate the slam about people over 50. For your information the majority of people over 50 are NOT haters of change in fact we embrace change. What's wrong with the old Victrola? They are worth a fortune now. Some people are in favor of the BOK and some are not, I think we should all respect that and not be insulting. Change is good if it is for all the right reasons. Hope you were at the Paul Mccartney concert at the BOK 'cause a good majority of the attendees were OVER 50. Alot of us over 50 crowd haved lived through alot of changes and perservered that is what gives us so much wisdom. Must go now and put the batteries in my walkman.

Umm, the majority of votors, voted for building the BOK Center. Some government official didn't just go... "hey I want to build this" then magically took money from some where else in the budget to do so. I wanted the BOK Center, and apparently a lot of other people did too or it wouldnt be here lol. I am also willing to pay more taxes to have more cops. I would also think it wise for the cops to live in Tulsa or pay a mileage fee to drive the cars outside of Tulsa, or not drive the cars outside the city,,, especially if that could allow there to be more cops. But, if you really get down to it, I would rather have more teachers and such to help kids who need extra attention, councilors for new parents in lower income groups, drug abuse and addicion care, etc. to reduce the root causes of crime in the first instance. Soon as that is on some ballot I will vote for it like I did the BOK center.
