Default Info from so. Ca transplants to tulsa area

I am considering moving to the Tulsa area within a year. Would like to hear from anyone that moved there from So CA. How do you like it? What area do you live? I would really appreciate any input you could give me. I've been in OKC, but never Tulsa.
How would you say the job market is, with the bad economy every where? Thanks in advance. Barbara

I know of several SoCal transplants that have moved to Oklahoma (rural areas) and liked it but am not sure of how many live in the Tulsa area. I'm sure somebody will pipe in before too long but in the meantime, browse through the threads and stickies on the Tulsa forum.

Hi, I moved from San Diego area to Oklahoma over 3 years ago, maybe 21/2. I really love it here. I have been to Tulsa, and it has some nice shopping. I don't know what you are looking for though? I can't tell you about the job market there, but I am sure others will. It really depends upon what you are used to.

I live in Tahlequah, 1/2 hours away.
