Hello all,

I've read some great posts and advice concerning moving to Tulsa. In my case I'll be moving in June for work at St. John med center. Any recommendations/advice for finding a comfortable place (apartment/condo/house/underground bunker) within 10 minutes of the hospital would be greatly appreciated.

You, lucky duck! You will working and living near Utica Square. It's the artsy section of Tulsa. Stay south, but there is a crime element between Lewis and Peoria where bounded by 51st and 61st. You will be working in the Midtown area. Beware of river flooding along the Arkansas River, but don't go too far into the 21st and Yale area-- the area is in the middle of a revitalization. Good luck!

21st and Utica is a great area. I have friends who rent a house in a neighborhood of 18th and Lewis. Don't worry about the bunker too much

I never rented in Tulsa so I'm not sure where to direct you in that regard but there are plenty of good apartments within a decent driving distance. You may want to be out say 15 mins or so because honestly, traffic isn't that much of an issue.
