Yeah! Japanese steakhouse is a great idea
We live about 12 miles from Owasso and the restaurants are packed on the weekends. We're part of the crowd. Not bad on weeknights either. We would LOVE a Japanese steakhouse there. If you look at the demographics, there are a ton of people in the region that go to Owasso. Who wants to go to Tulsa if there is an alternative closer. The rent they are asking seems high but the building looks very well built and the location is fantastic. Build it and we'll come! Good luck!

The new Thailand restaurant is good. A japanese place, too? I'll never have to leave Owasso.

I can't imagine spending $13 at a Fuddrucker's. I always get a 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger, fries, and sweet tea. I think the most I've spent was a few cents over $9. I have seen a great variety of restaurants around Tulsa looking through Google. I don't see any reason a Japanese steakhouse wouldn't do well, but with that high of a lease rate, it would be hard to stay afloat anywhere this side of a BBQ or regular steakhouse.

We live in Owasso and pass the Fuddrucker's on the way home every day.
We highly suggest you reopen the joint as is!! We LOVE Fuddrucker's and don't suggest a Japanese steakhouse AT ALL.
The Asian restaurants don't do that well here. Hamburgers are always in demand!
Hope this helps!

Fuddruckers STINKS! If you want a hamburger from a national chain along those lines, I'd suggest Red Robin. I went there for the first time last Friday for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised.
Doesn't help that I got one of only two cases of food poisoning EVER in my life from a Fuddruckers. The other was from a Captain D's. Both of which I'll NEVER suggest to anyone, nor will I eat there even if I was starving to death.
