Sorry your day was like that. Was it from the storm? Did Tulsa end up with freezing rain rather then snow?

We had very large wet snow flakes, not ice this time. It was really very pretty. Got about 8 inches in our neighborhood. It's melting fast and main streets were clear this morning. I guess the heavy snow broke some lines.

Our power went off twice, but very briefly. It seemed throughout the day that when the sun would try and peek through, even though it was still snowing, the roads would get better. When the sunlight went away, it got bad again.

I took several little videos (with an old still digital camera I still have that takes them, and used the Nikon to take some others.

It looked like this around noon on Saturday out my front door:

It looks like this as of 5pm or so today:'

You can see the whole set, plus the five videos I took during it here:

Your snow looks so much heavier and wetter then it does up here. Maybe that's why you have more of a problem with losing electricity then we generally do.

Very nice pictures and I think I could tolerate your snowstorms. That's a heavy dusting up here.

This was actually a little odd, although weathermen/women do say that our snow this late in the season typically is wetter because the air has a higher humidity content.

At one point, the flakes were big as quarters, and stuck to my coat as I was clearing my car to get out. Which sucked, because as soon as I would clear the windows, they'd just get more snow on em....

But it's neat. Now we have a chance of storms tonight.

Ah yes...welcome to Oklahoma and Oklahoma spring weather!

Nope, Avenger. Had it since the beginning of '08.

But you were close. It's what the Dodge people refer to as 'the Baby Charger'.

I wanted to rent one of those awhile back to try it out. The rental company was all out. I like the way they look; kind of old style with a modern flair. How do you like it?
