I'm not quite sure why you are looking at renting a kitchen by the hour. This is interesting; could you elaborate?

I'm not sure a kitchen would be willing to rent out their facilities by the hour, more like by the week or month.

I am considering a business where I am required by the state to use a commercial kitchen that has a permit. This is something that I am looking into, so at this time I will need to rent a commercial kitchen by the hour.

I wish I could be of more help. Try using google and type in "commercial kitchens for rent, Tulsa" or something to that effect.

I applaud you for considering a business venture. Small businesses are the heart of our economy and I wish you all the success in the world.

Although this website lists NO commercial kitchens for rent in Oklahoma, perhaps the website owners can give you some advice.

Commercial Kitchens for Rent

Also, contact the local county health inspector's/environmental health service office. They may know of something.

The problem with renting a commercial kitchen has to do with the fact that most are being used all the time. the only place I can think a commercial kitchen is not used all the time is in some of the motels along Rt 66. I am thinking there are several restaurants on 11th street that are closed where the owners might very well be willing to rent them out for a short period. It would matter, I think, as to what kind of period you are wanting to rent one. Do you need it for two hours a day every day or can you work with one week a month or one month out of several months.

If the time frame itself didn't matter, perhaps you could find one of the small restaurants that are open for lunch and breakfast only (like the ones in the commercial or industrial districts) that would let you rent from their closing to the early evening.

As I think about it, perhaps you could locate an old restaurant, rent it cheap, and offer the use to others in your position........there has to be other entrepreneurs interested in part time kitchen use.

Have you found anything at this point. I have checked with many churches, schools, civic organizations and most are not willing to rent out their space. I am desiring the same thing.
