White River is a good place as well.

Coney-I-Lander, Goldies, Jamils, Hanks, Claudes, Ikes, Taco Bueno are all doing well, with Coney-I-Lander, Taco Bueno, and Goldies having several locations. Also doing well is Ron's Hamburgers with locations in several towns surrounding Tulsa as well as locations in OKC and Dallas. Webers Root Beer in Brookside tried expanding into franchises but have not been able to survive except for the Brookside location.

Don't think it's still around but what was the name of that steak house that you could eat all the steak you wanted for $9.95? I think it was called Cattle Rustlers or something like that?? I frequented that place quite often!!

I used to really like Atomic Burrito, also Mexico Lindo.

I have a thing for bad Chinese buffets, and used to like that one around 61st and Lewis. I think the last time I was in town the building had been demolished---it was really funny to be looking for it and not seeing anything there at all.

If you want the best home cooked type food you have to go to Shiloh's in Broken Arrow. They recently moved and are now at 145th exit off the BA, just south on west side by a hotel. Get the goulash, or chicken fried chicken, both are outstanding!

White River! You have to get the red beans and rice, some of the best you'll ever have!
