There are a couple of versions at the bottom of this page for the Cabbage Rolls: Tulsa World: Rounding 'em up
I can't find the Tabouli Recipe though...
Edit: Aha! Try here (bottom of the page): http://www.tulsaworld.com/spot/artic...71&archive=yes

We went to the new Jamil's a couple of nights ago (Friday night) and were somewhat disappointed. they are located where Jimmy's Egg used to be next to the former Panera Bread Company between Yale and Harvard.
the appetizers were as good as usual, except the cabbage rolls weren't as hot as they used to be. both Schousse and I had the rib eye steaks ($19.95) prepared the same way....her's was great, mine was mediocre. My baked potato was a little bit hard, so they should have baked it an extra 15 minutes. Service was really mediocre. Cookie and Robert are running a far larger staff then they had before (or so it seems), and the wait staff is far less personable.
At this point, I will probably be looking for another steak house.......the Avalon is not as good as it was when it was at it's old place, Jamil's isn't as good since it moved, Spudder isn't what it used to be either..........
Anyone have a good suggestion?

Is Eddy's Steakhouse still open? I think he's related to Jamils.

All the places GP mentioned USED to be sooooo good. Eddy's was up there too. Oh man, 20 years do make a difference. Too bad, so sad. Maybe Eddy's is unchanged? Fat chance, huh?

Eddy's over on 31st near Harvard? Went there about 5 years ago and was disappointed. There is a Freddie's in Drumright that is pretty good, and a Freddie's on 66 east of Sapulpa that is pretty good, and the Freddie's in Mannford is pretty good.......but none of them are what they used to be.
I wonder why it is? Seems pretty simple to get a good steak, cook it right, put it with a totally baked potato, add a salad to the meal.....not all that hard. I think it probably has to do with where they get their beef. It's all factory production and all the same. I went to Four State Meats a while back and had to wait while they cut me some rib eyes which I took home and cooked over a hot hickory bed of coals and had a great steak.....best I've had in a while......Whole meal, mushrooms, salad, potato, steak, bottle of wine for four people didn't run $50.....but worth a hundred and fifty...........

Let's eat out when having Chinese in OKC, Thai in Tulsa and Mexican in Tulsa. When we want steaks, BBQ etc we'll just eat in.

It's hard to get a good steak these days eating out, unless you want to pay an arm and a leg. I agree with Schousse on the steaks. BBQ on the other hand, there's a really fine BBQ place less than a mile from my house.
Danny D's BBQ
The reviews on the place are excellent as well.
