Default Are there decent home rentals in the jenks area??

Hi, I have been looking around at the Tulsa area. With a possible move to the city I was wondering will I have a problem finding a house to rent in either the Broken Arrow or Jenks area?

I have two boys so a decent sized house is a must. I really do not want to settle for an apartment because we are used to a house. I don't want to buy a home to begin with (maybe in a couple of years).

Does anyone have any thoughts about this or suggestions. We are leaving a 3600 square foot home with fairly new furniture and I really do not want to get rid of anything.

Thanks for your help...

I'm sure you'll not have issues finding a house to rent, even that size of a house. A good rule of thumb for home rentals in our area is to figure .65 to .75 cents per square foot for rent on a house. So for a 3600 sq. ft. rental home expect to pay around $2300/month. You may find cheaper homes to rent, but not in very desirable locations if you know what I mean.

Raelyn, I think the pricing info quoted is a little high. I checked
1 Tulsa property manager with Jenks listing and there are rentals in all price ranges. The company is Vicki Berg (I do not work for them, but I know property owners who use her services). Vicki Berg - Listings

McGraw Realtors also has listings in Jenks, as do Coldwel Banker Rader Group (I do not work for them either)

McGraw Realtors

Real Estate In Tulsa, OK - Coldwell Banker Select

Best of luck!
