Default No pictures of collinsville or owasso on google images!!!

Hi, I was just wondering why I can't find any scenic pictures of Owasso or Collinsville on the internet. For instance, if I type in Spokane Washington in Google images a whole bunch of pictures come up. But there is nothing for Owasso, Collinsville or for that matter Bixby... Are those cities not very pretty or what is going on? Just wondering... I am trying to get an idea of what the areas look like. Does anyone know where I can find some pictures of the landscape, scenery, etc.?

Thanks,
Raelyn

Raelynn, you'll still like Tulsa even though your area looks beautiful. We have some scenery up here, too that could stand up to almost any scenery in the world~well, maybe except Colorado~but eastern Ok is very beautiful. If you need a "beautiful scenery fix", just drive over to Grove and head straight south. It's right along the Ark. border and it's very nice there.

Check out the pretty pics of the Talimena Drive that Cherokee Moon posted.

Just thought I'd add some stuff since it seems that you're into natural beauty like I am. This is a beautiful park to visit. Their roses are just gorgeous.

There's also a casino in Catoosa and even though we didn't drive around there, it looks like that area is quite pretty.

There's also a very nice western museum and the scenery is quite nice around that area. Here's a link to it and it should give you the addy. I was looking for nice pics of the grounds, but might check for that later.

Here's a museum we were going to go to, but we headed out before it opened. It's a place I definitely want to see. All the pics of it are just gorgeous.

The aquarium in Jenks is kind of neat and we thought the area was SO well kept and pretty. The Ark. River runs very near to it and unfortunately, it was very low when we were there. BUT I've seen pics of it where it was full and it was very nice.

If you're thinking about a day trip, I'd head over to Grove. I have some pics of it, but not in my photobucket anymore. Sorry. Brian (visits here quite often) may be able to send you some very nice pics of Grove. He's posted a few of them on here, but I have no idea where they're at. You could DM him and ask if he'd be kind enough to send you some pics.

The River Parks~that's definitely where we'll go on our next trip down there. I've actually seen a bit of them on the weather channel in the past. They would talk about the heat in OK and they'd show people out jogging and bicycling early in the morning.

I kind of liked the area around Jenks and southwestern Tulsa. The ORU campus looked very nice even though we didn't stop and stroll through there. They had a LOT of flowers. Southern Hills Country Club looked very nice, but again, we didn't stop there.

http://www.oru.edu/ This is just a generic site for the university, but it should at least give you a location for it.

You can see a few pics of Tulsa at the top of the screen on the above link. It is a nice area and that's not just my opinion. They've even had golf championships there so others must think it's nice, too.

If I can think of anything else that may help, I'll post it. I do understand. Moving is a much larger issue/decision for some then for others. I would also be very apprehensive to move to a place I've never visited. I've familiarized myself with Tulsa/northeastern OK for a few years now, yet if the time came to actually pick up and go, I'd have a few butterflies, too. It's just the fear of the unknown, but honestly, I think Tulsa is a nice location.
