Awww, I think Broken Arrow counts as Tulsa! Especially when it involves someone as talented and renowned as KC!

BigOkie, you should be a bit more tactful. DM1031 made a polite observation which was pretty darn accurate. Garth Brooks was raised in Yukon, OK and has his primary residence in Owasso. Will Rogers was never a Tulsa resident.

Default Why Not Continue Interstate 44 As Will Roger Freeway To The Turner Turnpike

So far as naming streets after famous Okies......there aren't enough streets in Tulsa to do that and not leave someone important out..........
The Will Roger Turnpike is not within the Tulsa city limits, lets run the
remaining segment of the Interstate that actually run thur Tulsa
renaming it the Will Roger Freeway......that would be The City Of Tulsa
honoring Will Rogers....

And my observation was just as accurate. Garth WAS born in Tulsa. I can't help it if he was raised near OKC. He stated he wasn't from Tulsa. He darn sure is, even if it's by birth only.
