Opinion, experience, facts, truth, call it whatever you want. I call it bad driving, reckless driving, ignorance and an accident waiting to happen. I agree that Tulsa is probably NOT the worst place to drive but I still stand behind my title. Tulsans are some of the worst drivers that I have seen and I have been a lot of places. Good night

See in modifying your post title you've removed the generalization.

'Tulsans are the worst drivers i have seen!!

to

'Tulsans are some of the worst drivers that I have seen'

Get my drift now?

Thanks for playing.

No thanks!! I would prefer to live somewhere where the drivers are a little more considerate and hurricanes are not my thing Sorry that you have to put up with the same sort of nonsense in Miami...

BigOkie come on.... using the wording "are some of" reveals that I am not generalizing but making a comment on some drivers but not all. What is your problem anyway? I didn't modify my post and I am not playing anything, I have better things to do.

So would it be fair to say that all people from Detroit have bad handwriting? All women lie about their age? All men lie about the size of...well, you get the idea...

Generalizations are usually emotionally-driven and and not thought through very well.

How do you generalize without making generalizations?

Frankly I think most threads on forums are useless, except for the ones I post on........
