I'm Okie to the core and I know good BBQ. I've been all over the South and Southwest (Oklahoma falls somewhere between both those regions)and I ain't gonna lie...Oklahoma BBQ is up there with the very best.

The Best in Oklahoma...
Earl's Rib Palace (OK City area)
Dink's BBQ (Bartlesville)
Jake's Rib (Chickashe)
Head Country (Ponca City)
Van's Pig Stand (Norman)

Also, Head Country BBQ sauce is the best sauce you'll ever put in your mouth. I buy it by the jug....mayun I'm gettin' hungry now!!!

We've recently relocated to Tulsa from San Jose, CA. There, we enjoyed Sam's BBQ, here we've found Albert G's. Yummy! And were really loving the cheap gas...down to $1.37/gal. Nice!

Don't forget Bob's BBQ in Ada, Oklahoma; it's a regional favorite.

It's a little far for Tulsans just for a weekend gig, but I concur. I went there as part of a friend of mines flight training; we'd hit several of these a year and walked to the restaurant from the airport (about a 10 minute walk) and loved their food.

I miss Legends in Tulsa at 26th and Memorial. I guess the one in Owasso still exists.
