Stunning! My Tulsa relatives have attended Asbury Methodist for decades. I remember going to the old sanctuary near 61st and Sheridan. It was also beautiful...very gothic. Although I would guess that is was built sometime in the 60's. From what I hear the new Asbury is a mega church, but has a very nice clock tower.

And another person who is out of state. Excellent cityscape shots, especially the U.S. 75 south entry into town. That's what I see when coming in from Dallas. Great riverside shots, too.

You should visit the link that I posted for WilliamTheArtist. There are a lot more pictures there of the Philbrook and more. Good to hear from you case, as always.

Very nice. The thunderhead behind Boston Avenue is pretty cool.

I just got back to Dallas from my holiday visit to Tulsa. WOW...i had no idea the damage for the ice storm was so severe. So many beautiful trees most likely damages beyond repair. It is sad. I drove downtown and took a look at the new Arena. It is spectacular. I also had breakfast and Brookside by Day, which was excellent. On Sunday I did a little shopping at Utica Square. I think I saw a post once about how old and rundown that place was. I was surprised, I think it is a very nice shopping area. I guess some people can't find anything good to say about anything. Once again, I think Tulsa is a beautiful city and all Tulsans should be very proud.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself sparkman. It is sad about all of the damage to the trees; Tulsa is known as a city full of beautiful trees. Hopefully most of them will recover. Thanks for the nice comments!
